how young isTOO young? And I mean age group, not how low for an individual to go, although you can answer that too if you want.

    • you are old enough to have sex when you are old enough to accept the consequences and love the person you are with. There is always a chance to get pregnant even with 3 forms of birth control. None is 100% effective, unless you get your organs removed. hee hee. anyways. If you think you are ready to handle having a child then go for it. If not I would wait til you are with someone that you love and that if anything were to happen with a child, you would be able to support it.

    • Definatly I honestly believe that people should not have sex in highschool.

Why? Because they often regret it when they are older PLUS if you are going to have a child you should finish school first... and you can say "well i dont want a child I want sex"

but yopu cant always decide to take one and not the other!

If you HAD to put an age on it (even tho you really cant ) I in MY opinion would say...

      20.

there i said it, yep 20.

I mean it makes me cringe when I hear about 15 year olds having sex, it actually makes me feel ill. I dont think 15 and 16 and 17 is old enough to handle the emotional sides. Its not just wam bam thank you man, there is more on the line then that.

So yes, i mean in a perfect world hey wait till you find that one person you KNOW you want to be with... because if you dont do that when you do find someone extra special there can be problems between you if you really "got around" when you were younger and they maybe didnt... jelousy... feeling inadequate...

      it happens!

can you provide for a baby (withOUT your parents help)

      then go ahead give 'er

    • I totally agree with MusicGirl and I really wish that most adults would live by that code of Ethics. We know on the whole that most females are emotional creatures therefore most of us don't just have sex with a guy with no feeling. But guys, really, don't have sex with a female you can't envisage having your kid with!

    • Ok, my opinion is the same as Chef from South Park, 17 is the right age. That's the age I first had sex and I think that any earlier than that is rediculous, maybe 16 at the earliest but even that is pretty young. So 17 is my opinion, worked for me.

    • There is no age. Our instincts (as well as history) tells us that as soon as we grow the organs, we are ready to bear children, but in today's society? NO WAY!! There are grown adults that don't even know how to accept the responsibility of a child! If you can take care of a kid and yourself ON YOUR OWN at however old you are, go for it. But I honestly think 19 is a great age. Even at 18 your still kinda young; just because you're 18 and you can legally have sex doesn't mean you HAVE to!

      :)
